Centre senior guard Collin Lopez has been named Men’s Basketball Player of the Week by the Southern Athletic Association for games played through January 19th.
Lopez earned Player of the Week honors after shooting perfection, making all seven of his shots from the floor, including three for three on three-pointers, in the Colonels’ 85-46 win at Sewanee on January 18th. Lopez has scored in double figures in five of Centre’s last six games and is averaging 14 points per game in conference play.
The Colonels travel to Georgia to play the second and third games of a five-game road trip. They play at #24 Oglethorpe on January 24th and at Berry on the 26th.
