Courtney – 2015 Alumna

After graduating CAI, I attended Ball State University for four years where I received a Bachelor’s Degree in Hospitality and Food Management with a Minor in Marketing. After college, I immediately started working in the hotel industry doing sales and events. Most recently, I worked as the Area Director of Catering and Conventions for Indianapolis’ second largest conference center hotel.

After living in Indianapolis for five years, my husband, Anthony, and I decided to move back to the Kentuckiana area. We recently moved to Louisville, KY where I am working as the Senior Event Manager at the Louisville Marriott Downtown. At this job I execute all different types of events, from large expos to fundraising galas to corporate meetings.

In my free time, I enjoy spending time with Anthony and our two dogs, Kate and Lily. I also enjoy playing tennis at my local racquet club as well as sand volleyball during the summer months.

Caleb – 2023 Alumnus

Caleb received a full ride scholarship to IU for the new Baccaluarete/Doctor of Medicine Degree Scholarship Program upon graduating at CAI.

He says, “I plan to go into orthopedics, namely orthopedic surgery.  This is a passion of mine as I suffered an injury requiring an orthopedic surgeon. She changed my life for the better and I desire to help and minister to those who suffer similar injuries. Something I loved about CAI: Each teacher and faculty member loves CAI students. Along with this, they desire to see growth in students as friends, mentors, leaders and ultimately Christians. CAI’s dedication to teaching truth through scripture has prepared me for my college experience. CAI’s mission statement is carried out through its amazing faculty. I have made lasting relationships with several teachers and administration members. As an alumnus and a lifer, I could not have asked for a more loving faculty!”

Lilly – 2018 Alumna

I earned my master’s degree in social work from the University of Louisville in the winter of 2023. Currently, I serve as a Mental Health Counselor in both elementary and middle school settings. Committed to addressing the unique challenges faced by students in a rural area with limited access to services, I passionately advocate for my clients and their family’s mental well-being. My goal is to leverage my skills and passion to enhance mental health support for students to help them thrive mentally and emotionally. Through my role, I’ve implemented programs connecting families with vital resources such as free dental care, new beds and complimentary mental health therapy services. I feel so blessed to have the opportunity to meet students where they are and empower them to get where they want to be.
