Home of the Saints!
At Christian Academy we strive to keep our athletic program Christ-centered. We do this by encouraging our coaches and athletes to model servant leadership (Matthew 2-:26-28) while being salt and light to the community (Matthew 5:13-14). Our sports are an extension of our school system mission statement: “To develop students with a heart for God who grow as Jesus did in wisdom, stature, and in favor with God and men.”
We teach our athletes to be modest in victory and gracious in defeat. While we always encourage athletes to use their God-given gifts to the best of their ability, we never place winning as a priority over godliness. Please partner with us in implementing these values so that God will always get the glory in everything we do at Southwest.
The following sports are offered:
Middle School: Boys basketball, girls basketball, cheerleading, cross country, boys soccer, girls soccer and volleyball. For more information about middle school sports, please contact Matt Deaton at email@example.com.
Elementary Intramurals: Basketball, cheerleading, cross country, tennis and soccer.
The intramural program is designed to give elementary students a first-look at the athletic programs for Christian Academy. Sports offerings begin in second grade and proceed through middle school, making the athletic transition to middle school fun and easier because students are used to practices, competition and teamwork. We have a wide selection of sports currently offered and hope to increase participation sports in the future. For more information about intramural sports and how to sign up, please contact Kevin Bowers at firstname.lastname@example.org or Matt Deaton at email@example.com.
