The social life of pre-teens and teenagers can be difficult to navigate. Students today are significantly influenced by their digital involvement with social media, gaming and messaging. This digital influence can bring with it a unique set of challenges. As parents, it is important be aware of how to navigate student conflict and to stay up-to-date with the latest technology to encourage healthy boundaries and usage for your student.

Topics will include:
-Understanding Social Conflict
-Trending Social Media Sites
-Digital Reputation and Why it Matters
-Legal Issues Surrounding Social Media Use
Featuring Guest Speaker Mary Beth Uberti of Operation Parent

A Jeans Day Coupon will be given for the students of parents who attend!

PTO has graciously contributed to the purchase of 100 Operation Parent handbooks to be given to the first 100 families. Additional handbooks will be available for purchase.
