HELLO AGAIN, EVERYBODY. THE NEW KENTUCKY PREP FOOTBALL SEASON STARTS TOMORROW NIGHT AMONG BIG GAMES, CHRISTIAN ACADEMY IS AT SOUTH. ONE CAL PLAYER IS UNUSUALLY MOTIVATED TO SCORE POINTS FOR THE CENTURIONS THIS SEASON BECAUSE IT’S FOR A CAUSE THAT’S BIGGER THAN FOOTBALL. WLKY AS DOMINIC GATES EXPLAINS. JACK BURKMAN HAS BEEN KICKING THE CHRISTIAN ACADEMY FOOTBALL TEAM SINCE EIGHTH GRADE. THEY PULLED ME OFF THE SOCCER BECAUSE THEY WERE LOOKING FOR SOMEBODY LAST MINUTE BEFORE. THE SEASON. IT DIDN’T TAKE LONG HIM TO FIND HIS FOOTING. I MADE MY FIRST KICK AGAINST BULLITT EAST, I THINK IT WAS, AND AFTER THAT I KIND OF JUST STUCK WITH IT. IN ADDITION TO BEING THE TOP KICKER FOR THIS INTERIOR, HE’S ALSO ON SOCCER TEAM. THESE ARE REALLY GOOD. AND, YOU KNOW BEING A KICKER, YOU NEED YOUR OFFENSE TO BE PRODUCING AND THIS IS ONE OF THE BEST TEAMS TO DO THAT WHETHER IT’S ONE POINT OR THREE BARRACK MEN. INTERESTING IS SENIOR YEAR HOPING HE PUTS UP PLENTY OF POINTS ON THE SCOREBOARD. I WENT TO A COOKING CAMP, WHICH IS A NATIONAL SCHOLARSHIP CAMP. THERE WAS A SIGN UP BOOTH, GOD KICK YOU FOR ALEX’S LEMONADE STAND. AND DONORS CAN BASICALLY SIGN UP TO PLEDGE A CERTAIN AMOUNT FOR EACH KICK. I MAKE FOR EVERY KICK HE MAKES THAT MONEY GOES DIRECTLY TO CHILDHOOD CANCER RESEARCH. I’M TAKING ALL DONATIONS AND HOPING I CAN PROVIDE SOMETHING. CANCER RESEARCH CAL HEAD HUNTER CANTWELL SAYS BACHMANN’S WILLINGNESS TO HELP OTHERS IS WHAT HE STRIVES TO HAVE IN HIS PROGRAM. HIS GAME PRECIOUS BUT IT DOESN’T LAST FOREVER. AND SO CONTINUING TO BUILD THEIR CHARACTER AND THEIR LOVE FOR OTHERS INSPIRED BY GOD’S WORD OUT IN THE COMMUNITY, BACHMANN IS HONORED TO DO HIS PART LEAVING AN IMPACT GREATER THAN ANY GOAL HE’LL MAKE THIS SEASON. IT FEELS REALLY GOOD JUST KNOWING THAT I CAN FIND A WAY TO HELP PEOPLE THROUGH. THE TALENT THAT I’VE HAD FROM GOD AND I CAN GIVE BACK TO THE KIDS T
