Cassandra Ungaro is in her fifth year at Christian Academy of Louisville as the high school choir director and high school chapel band director. She earned her Bachelor of Music in Vocal Education and her Masters of Worship Leadership, both from Liberty University. Under her direction, the Christian Academy of Louisville High School choirs have consistently achieved distinguished ratings at KMEA performance assessment. In 2014, the Christian Academy Chorale received an award for being the top mixed choir for the Festival of Music competition in New York and in 2016, they placed first in their class for the Festival Disney competition.

“One of the many things that I enjoy about teaching is seeing a student’s face light up when their understanding of the fundamentals translates into making beautiful music.”

Angela Stephens is in her sixth year at Christian Academy of Louisville as the middle school choir director, assistant high school choir director, and the middle school chapel band director. Angela holds a Bachelor of Music Education degree from Liberty University and a Master of Music in Choral Conducting from the University of Louisville. Under her direction, the Christian Academy of Louisville Middle School Choirs were selected as one of two middle school choirs in the state of Kentucky to perform at the Kentucky Music Educator’s Conference in 2015.

“More than learning how to sing, I pray that my students grow to love Jesus and honor Him with all they sing, say, and do. Soli Deo Gloria!”
