Learn More about Middle School Girls Soccer at CAI
Our Mission
At Christian Academy, our soccer program exists not only to develop athletic skills but to instill teamwork, leadership and Christ-like character in every player. We value effort, humility and spiritual growth alongside athletic success.
Pathway of Development
Our player development model guides athletes through three stages:
- Intramural (Grades K–4): Basic skills, fun and foundational teamwork.
- Middle School (Grades 5–8): Structured team training, competition and personal responsibility.
- High School (Grades 9–12): Advanced development, leadership and representing Christ in competition.
Team Structure for Middle School Soccer
Girls Program:
-
We have one combined girls middle school team consisting of 5th through 8th grade players.
-
5th grade girls do not participate in official matches due to the lack of competition at their age level but they will be fully involved in training.
-
This training provides a valuable opportunity for 5th grade girls to build foundational skills, become familiar with the team environment and prepare for competitive seasons ahead.
Annual Soccer Calendar
- Summer:
- Preseason training begins mid-July
- Summer Soccer Camp: June 2–6
We strongly encourage all 5th–8th grade players to attend. It’s a key opportunity to sharpen skills, meet coaches, and connect with teammates in a fun and focused setting.
- Fall (August–September): Main competitive season with practices and weekday games.
- Winter: Futsal and indoor technical training focused on speed of play, control and creativity.
- Spring: Limited-contact technical training outdoors focused on individual and small-group skill development.
In-Season Commitment Preview
During the fall season (August–September), families can expect an average of three soccer commitments per week, which may include practices or games.
- Occasionally, there may be a fourth commitment during particularly busy weeks.
- The time and location of training sessions will be determined closer to the season and are based on field availability across our school campuses. We’ll communicate these details as soon as they are confirmed.
