First – Fifth Grade Christmas Program
We are so excited to share with you that we will have an in-person Christmas program on Thursday, December 16, at 7 p.m. This program will be for students in 1st-5th grades. Our program will look different than what we’ve done in the past. It will be a shorter program and students will not be in close contact for more than 15 minutes during the program.
Students will receive 8 tickets for their invited guests. These tickets will be for general admission and seats will not be assigned. We will also stream the concert on the school’s Facebook page for anyone that is unable to come.
Students must be dropped off at the school entrance via the carpool lane at 6:30 p.m. Students may wear a nice outfit instead of school uniforms but please keep in mind dress code rules (no jeans allowed).
The doors to the sanctuary will also open at 6:30 p.m. for seating. Please do not bring your student to the church lobby. Students should be dropped off at the main school entrance at 6:30 p.m. Follow the same procedure that is used for morning carpool dropoff.
Our kindergarten classes will not participate in this program, however, they will record something special and that video will be shared with their families.

2022-2023 Priority Admission for Siblings of Currently Enrolled Students
Christian Academy Families,
We are thankful that you have chosen to partner with us for your child’s Christian education and we want to continue to serve your family well. Your currently enrolled students will receive instructions regarding reenrollment for the 2022-2023 school year in early January 2022. Additionally, we would like to remind you that if you have a child in your family that is not currently enrolled and will be a new incoming student at Christian Academy for the 2022-2023 school year please submit an application online as soon as possible. It is always our desire to give siblings of current students priority consideration and now is the time to submit your application for the upcoming school year. If you have already submitted an application, we are thankful you desire to continue our partnership! Also, if your child is currently in our Junior Academy PK4, it is time to submit an application for kindergarten.
Admissions testing for new students who have applied to enter grades 2-12 for the 2022-2023 school year is currently being scheduled. Upon receiving your application, we will contact you to confirm a testing date for your child. Admissions testing for students who have applied to enter kindergarten and first grade for the 2022-2023 school year will be in January 2022. Admissions testing is not required to enter our Junior Academy.
We are thankful to already have many new applications on file for the 2022-2023 school year so it is important for you to move forward with submitting your application soon. You will find application information on our website at caschools.us/application-

Texas Roadhouse Gift Card Fundraiser
All students have received a flier from our PTO for our annual fundraiser with Texas Roadhouse. Each year, we sell Texas Roadhouse gift cards and the profits earned are used by our PTO for a variety of needs around our campus. The gift cards make great Christmas gifts! The deadline to submit your orders and payments is Monday, November 22. This is a firm deadline so that all gift cards can be processed and returned back to students prior to Christmas Break.
All orders and payments will be handled online this year. Please feel free to share this link with friends and family so they can place their orders as well!

Quarter 2 Service Project – Operation Christmas Child
We’ve kicked off our Quarter 2 service project today and we will be bringing in shoebox gifts for Operation Christmas Child! Students will be bringing home a shoebox today that includes directions for packing. All shoebox gifts need to be returned on Thursday, November 18, as part of National Collection Week. Join Us for a Family Hangout, October 22!
Junior Academy – 8th grade families, join us for food, games and fellowship in the school parking lot on Friday, October 22, from 5-7:30 p.m.! Six Forks Burger & Co. Food Truck will be on site. They serve a variety of burgers ranging from $10-$12. All burgers are served with fries. Canned drinks will be available for $1 each. Please bring a chair if you want to sit, and park in the Southeast parking lot.
Middle School Volleyball Team Wins the Whitefield Tournament!
Our varsity team got runner-up in our overall league with one loss. They won the Championship in the Whitefield tournament and played three games to secure the championship against Highlands Latin, Walden and Whitefield, 25-24 and 21-16. Varsity ended the season with 14 wins and 3 losses. We have two trophies to put in the case at school.

Scholastic Book Fair is October 11-15!
We are thrilled to be able to bring back the Scholastic Book Fair this year! The Book Fair will be open each day during school hours. While parents/guests cannot come in and shop with their student, you can add funds to your child’s “e-wallet” online, send cash or check in with them to school or place your order directly online.
