Texas Roadhouse Gift Card Fundraiser
![]() |
All students received a packet last week from our PTO for our annual fundraiser with Texas Roadhouse. Each year, we sell Texas Roadhouse gift cards and the profits earned are used by our PTO for a variety of needs around our campus. The gift cards make great Christmas gifts! The deadline to submit your order packet and payments is Wednesday, November 20. This is a firm deadline so that all gift cards can be processed and returned back to students during the first week of December. Can we Share the Truth about Scholarship Tax Credits?
![]() |
A lot of opinion has been shared about the proposed KY legislation that would allow Scholarship Tax Credits. This program allows individuals and businesses to donate to a fund to help financially limited families afford the school that is best for their children’s needs. It does not take revenue away from public schools and it does not support the wealthy. Charles Leis, president of EdChoiceKY, shares the truth behind this needed legislation in this video. |

Operation Christmas Child Service Project
We have kicked off our second quarter service project! We will be packing and collecting shoebox gifts for Operation Christmas Child! Your child should have received a brochure with instructions and details for how to pack a shoebox gift. The deadline to turn in these gifts is Thursday, November 21, as part of National Collection Week for Operation Christmas Child. Please mark your calendar and plan to join us for a special combined chapel service that day from 9-10 a.m. in our school gym. We will learn more about this ministry and hopefully share the specific countries where our shoebox gifts will be sent.
Last year, our Southwest Campus gave 410 shoebox gifts to this ministry and helped to share the Gospel in 10 different countries! Our goal this year is 350 SHOEBOX GIFTS! Our students have already shown so much excitement about this project and we can’t wait to see how the Lord will work through our efforts.
PLEASE NOTE – Every child who donates a shoebox gift will have their name put in a drawing for a free ticket to Newport Aquarium! We will draw winners from junior academy (preschool), elementary and middle school. The number of entries for a child’s name will equal the number of shoeboxes that the child turns in (ex. 3 shoebox gifts equals 3 times entered in the drawing).
If you have any questions about what can or cannot be included in your shoebox gift, please contact Shannon Wilson at sewilson@caschools.us.
