Dr. Becky Wiley loves two things in particular: Jesus and teaching. She is currently Director of Spiritual Formation for Christian Academy School System in Louisville, Kentucky which combines these two passions and is her “dream job.” She has taught high school Bible for 15 years and has taken that experience to help equip teachers to biblically immerse their students, to better understand spiritual formation and the current student generations, and to grow more intimate with Jesus themselves.
Skill Set and Experience
A newer interest also includes helping parents biblically raise their children using new (along with tried & true) strategies and resources. Her educational background includes masters degrees in Educational Psychology and Counseling, Christian Education, and most recently a doctorate degree with a focus in global leadership. Her dissertation is entitled Meeting Jesus in the Classroom: Transformational Integration.
Becky Outside of Work
Becky is married to her hubby, Ed. They have two grown children (both graduates of Christian Academy) and one precious granddaughter. She loves reading, podcasts, her dogs, traveling, the beach, and hanging with her family.
