A lot of opinion has been shared about the proposed KY legislation that would allow Scholarship Tax Credits. This program allows individuals and businesses to donate to a fund to help financially limited families afford the school that is best for their children’s needs. It does not take revenue away from public schools and it does not support the wealthy. Charles Leis, president of EdChoiceKY, shares the truth behind this needed legislation in this video. |

Southwest Student is 2019 Kentucky Middle School State Golf Champion
This past weekend, Landon Stillwell (7th Grade) represented Christian Academy in the Kentucky Middle School State Golf Championship. He shot a one under par 71 and tied CAL-English Station student Brady Smith for low round of the day. Landon won the tournament in a 6-hole playoff is the 2019 Kentucky Middle School State Champion. Please join us in congratulating Landon! We are so proud of him and his representation of our school!
Kindergarten – 5th Grade Christmas Program, December 12
Please make sure your calendars are marked for Thursday, December 12, at 7 p.m. for our Christmas program. The program will feature our kindergarten through 5th grade students, the 3rd grade classes acting out the Christmas story and the Middle School Spiritual Life Praise Team.
Attendance is a requirement for kindergarten-5th grade students as stated in the Elementary Family Handbook.
Students must be in their designated areas by 6:40 p.m. Students may wear a nice outfit instead of school uniforms but please keep in mind dress code rules (no jeans allowed) and that they will be sitting down on the risers during portions of the program.

Monday through Thursday | 8 a.m. – 4 p.m.
Friday | 8 a.m. – 4 p.m. and during Fall Family Fellowship
Students will be allowed to look and purchase during their normal weekly library time. They may also come and shop during free time, at their teacher’s discretion. Parents and other family members are welcome to come before or after school to browse and shop! We accept cash, credit cards and checks made payable to CAL. |
