At Christian Academy, we earnestly follow Biblical principles of stewardship. The Lord has blessed Christian Academy richly. His hand is evident throughout years of provision and growth.
In Luke 12:48, it is said "From everyone who has been given much, much will be demanded; and from the one who has been entrusted with much, much more will be asked." We are humbled by how much the Lord has entrusted to Christian Academy, and take the responsibility of being good stewards of the time, talent and treasure He has bestowed upon us very seriously.
In my role at Christian Academy, I oversee the safety of our students, the financial health of our school system, and the day-to-day operations to ensure all children who enter the doors of one of our four campuses, and the parents who entrust their children to us, are delighted with a Christ-centered experience.
Since my arrival at Christian Academy, three themes have driven my behavior and the behavior of my staff: safety, excellence and efficiency. All three of these themes have Biblical roots that support and strengthen the case for our passion in these areas.
In examining survey data, one of the primary reasons our parents choose Christian Academy is because it is a "safe place". Our staff and faculty training, our systems, and our processes are all designed to continuously improve the safety of our students, parents, staff, faculty, and guests.
We also believe that pursuing - and achieving - excellence is a must. Colossians 3:23 says, "Whatever you do, work at it with all your heart, as working for the Lord, not for men." We believe we are here to do more than just fulfill job requirements; we are here to honor God, and He deserves our best.
Because we are a ministry, being efficient with our resources is paramount. Sound principles of stewardship are found within process documentation, definition and measurement, clearly defined roles and responsibilities, and focus on continuous improvement. If we do this well, we will keep tuition affordable and be unapologetic in asking for your support of our mission "to develop students with a heart for God who grow as Jesus did in wisdom, stature and in favor with God and men".
Finally, we believe that all families who desire a Christ-centered education and are interested in attending one of our four campuses should have the opportunity to do so, regardless of financial resources. Therefore, we are fervently committed to tuition assistance and helping those in need, as we are called to do collectively as Christians. Proverbs 21: 13 - "If a man shuts his ears to the cry of the poor, he too will cry out and not be answered.”
