About

Tim Greener, Superintendent

On behalf of the faculty, staff, and administration, I want to thank you for your interest in the Christian Academy School System. Our mission at Christian Academy is to develop students with a heart for God who grow as Jesus did in wisdom, stature, and in favor with God and men.

It is a privilege and honor to partner with parents in the development of children, both spiritually and academically. We are committed to nurturing and cultivating the special talents and abilities instilled in every child by God for His honor and glory. We are able to do this through our exceptional academic curriculum, growing and award-winning fine arts offerings, championship athletic programs, robust technology next-generation learning opportunities, missions and service focus, a wide variety of extracurricular activities, and most importantly, a Biblical faith and worldview that is the common thread running through everything we do.

I believe my main responsibility at Christian Academy is to make sure that everything we do fits within our mission. I consider myself the spiritual gatekeeper for our schools, making certain that every facet of our school programs, whether academic, extra-curricular or spiritual, is developing our students’ hearts for the Lord.

On our website, you will find a wide variety of information about Christian Academy School System, as well as specific information about our four campuses, English Station, Indiana, Rock Creek and Southwest. If you can’t find what you are looking for, or if you simply have additional questions about how your family may become part of the Christian Academy family, please call us at (502) 244-3225. It would be our pleasure to speak with you.

Blessings,

Tim Greener

Moe Lundrigan, Executive Director

At Christian Academy, we earnestly follow Biblical principles of stewardship. The Lord has blessed Christian Academy richly. His hand is evident throughout years of provision and growth.

In Luke 12:48, it is said "From everyone who has been given much, much will be demanded; and from the one who has been entrusted with much, much more will be asked." We are humbled by how much the Lord has entrusted to Christian Academy, and take the responsibility of being good stewards of the time, talent and treasure He has bestowed upon us very seriously.

In my role at Christian Academy, I oversee the safety of our students, the financial health of our school system, and the day-to-day operations to ensure all children who enter the doors of one of our four campuses, and the parents who entrust their children to us, are delighted with a Christ-centered experience.

Since my arrival at Christian Academy, three themes have driven my behavior and the behavior of my staff: safety, excellence and efficiency. All three of these themes have Biblical roots that support and strengthen the case for our passion in these areas.

In examining survey data, one of the primary reasons our parents choose Christian Academy is because it is a "safe place". Our staff and faculty training, our systems, and our processes are all designed to continuously improve the safety of our students, parents, staff, faculty, and guests.

We also believe that pursuing - and achieving - excellence is a must. Colossians 3:23 says, "Whatever you do, work at it with all your heart, as working for the Lord, not for men." We believe we are here to do more than just fulfill job requirements; we are here to honor God, and He deserves our best.

Because we are a ministry, being efficient with our resources is paramount. Sound principles of stewardship are found within process documentation, definition and measurement, clearly defined roles and responsibilities, and focus on continuous improvement. If we do this well, we will keep tuition affordable and be unapologetic in asking for your support of our mission "to develop students with a heart for God who grow as Jesus did in wisdom, stature and in favor with God and men".

Finally, we believe that all families who desire a Christ-centered education and are interested in attending one of our four campuses should have the opportunity to do so, regardless of financial resources. Therefore, we are fervently committed to tuition assistance and helping those in need, as we are called to do collectively as Christians. Proverbs 21: 13 - "If a man shuts his ears to the cry of the poor, he too will cry out and not be answered.”

Thank you for exploring our website. We welcome the opportunity to speak with you and your family, as you consider Christian Academy as the educational choice for your child.

For His Glory,

Moe Lundrigan

We're Partners

In your family's life...
We consider it a privilege and honor to partner with parents and the local church in developing each child spiritually, intellectually, socially and physically. We consider every child a gift from God, with special talents and abilities to be nurtured and cultivated.

In school...
Solid, Biblical principles are integrated into all areas of student life -- academics, athletics, fine arts, extracurricular activities, missions and service, and all curriculum -- so that as students transition into adult children of God, they leave Christian Academy with a solid foundation to fulfill their life’s purpose, according to God’s plan.

With the church and community...
Christian Academy walks arm-in-arm with the local churches where our families attend and worship. A family grounded in a solid church with Scripture-based teaching will find that Christian Academy serves to supplement and reinforce what is being taught at church and in the home.
