Join the Christian Academy of Louisville School of the Arts students as they partner with the Master’s Men choir from Southeast Christian Church for ‘Tis the Season.On Sunday, November 16, at the Kentucky Center for the Performing Arts you, your family and friends will enjoy a concert certain to prepare your hearts for the holiday season. We will be pre-selling tickets to this Friday’s varsity football game against DeSales on Thursday, October 16, in the Centurion Armory. Ticket cost is $6 for adults and $4 for children. Friday night’s game is at Iroquois High School at 7:30 p.m.
Thank you to everyone who donated books to the Lions Club book drive! As a school, we donated at total of 1,486 books. The elementary collected a total of 450, the middle school collected 431 and the high school collected 605.
CAL Dramaticals presents: “Flowers for Algernon”. This is the compelling story of Charlie, a mentally challenged man, and the strange interweaving of his life with that of Algernon, a mouse. Experimental surgery has been performed on Algernon increasing his intelligence fourfold.
Celebrate My Drive is a national program sponsored by State Farm. CAL families and friends can help us win a $100,000 grant by voting for CAL at www.celebratemydrive.com from October 15-24. Local State Farm agents are also holding a safe driver event for teens on Saturday, October 18, from 10 a.m.
Thank you to everyone who participated in the Blanket and Coat Drive. We were able to donate 75 blankets and 90 coats. We split the donations between Church Without Walls and Lost Sheep Ministry.
