What made you decide to coach bowling at CAL? My oldest son bowls and they needed a coach!

How do you try to be distinctive for Christ as a bowling team? With our sportsmanship and positive attitude.

Who are or have been your spiritual mentors? Being in the business world, I have been blessed with many centers of influence who are also Christians. To be able to be surrounded by many supportive Christian professionals is a huge blessing and we mentor each other who are dealing with a lot of the same things.

Which person in the Bible do you relate to most and why? David – his faith and relationship with God took care of him. His struggles made him an even more faithful follower of God. When you stay true to your faith in God and go through trials, it only makes you more faithful. Anytime I am up against adversity, I ask God to help me through it, I always know God’s hand is in it and I will become a better person because of it and my faith will grow even deeper. I trust in God to see me through any trials and challenges. David had a very personal relationship with God and luckily we are all able to have a similar relationship with God as well.

What do you hope to accomplish this season? I want the boys to learn the mental aspects of bowling. We must think positively and learn to have a lot of fun!
