Christian Academy School System has a new security tip line: (502) 400-8525.
The following is the voice mail message callers will receive:
"You have reached the Christian Academy confidential security tip line. If this is an emergency, please hang up and dial 911. This line is not intended for day-to-day discipline issues. For all discipline-related concerns, please contact your child's school. If you have information related to a potential threat to Christian Academy people or property, please leave your name, number and message. Having your name and number helps school officials follow-up in the event more information is needed. All messages are sent to our director of security for review. Your information will be held in strict confidence."

Parker School Uniforms Declares Bankruptcy
We have been notified that Parker has filed for Chapter 7 of the Bankruptcy Code, which allows them to liquidate all assets.
If you have placed and paid for an unfilled order with Parker, please contact Jill Wells, Director of Administrative Services, at [email protected] immediately. Ms. Wells will provide you contact information for the Bankruptcy Trustee with whom you may file a claim. Claims must be filed promptly.
We apologize for any inconvenience you may experience. Christian Academy will maintain its relationship with Shaheen’s and add another uniform provider later this spring.
Reenrollment for the 2018-2019 School Year is Now Open; Deadline is January 19
We are very thankful that you have chosen to give us the gift of partnership with you in the Christian education of your children.
Every child who currently attends Christian Academy, junior academy through 11th grades, and will be returning for next school year must reenroll in January. The reenrollment deadline for the 2018-2019 school year is January 19, 2018. Reenrolling by this deadline is very important as we work to ensure placement of all current families, balance class sizes appropriately and begin placement of new families seeking to enroll their children at Christian Academy.

To begin the reenrollment process, simply follow the instructions below.

- Click on the Family Information button on the left.
- Click on the Enrollment/Reenrollment button.
- Click Start Enrollment Packet to complete the Enrollment Agreement.
- Please be sure to review and submit the enrollment form for each student in your family.
Your reenrollment fee(s) will be automatically deducted through your FACTS agreement on February 15, in addition to any regularly scheduled payments you may have. Priority Admission for Siblings of Current Students for the 2018-2019 School Year
We are honored that you are a part of the Christian Academy family and we want to continue to serve your family well. Therefore, we would like to remind you that if you have a child in your family that is not currently attending Christian Academy and will be a new incoming student
at Christian Academy for the 2018-2019 school year please submit an online 2018-2019 application as soon as possible. It is always our desire to give siblings of current students priority consideration and now is the time to submit your application for the upcoming school year. If you have already submitted an application, we are thankful you desire to continue our partnership!
Pre-admissions testing for new students who have applied for the 2018-2019 school year has begun. If you have not already, we encourage you to submit your application now. Our pre-admissions testing for students who have applied to enter grades 6-12 for the 2018-2019 school year will be on December 2, and January 20, 2018. We are also currently scheduling students for the January 20, group testing of grades 1-5 and scheduling individual kindergarten testing. Pre-admissions testing is not required to enter our Junior Academy.
We are thankful to already have many new applications on file for the 2018-2019 school year, so it is important for you to move forward with submitting your application if you have a child in your family that is not currently enrolled at Christian Academy.

Raising genZ. What Christian parents need to know. – Nov. 6, at Indiana and Nov. 7, at English Station
Every generation has its own nuances and traits with genZ being no different. However, this generation with the 24/7 access to technology is growing up in a world not seen or imagined before. Christian parents need wisdom, discernment and the will to day in and day out nurture young children, tweeners and teens. Let’s embrace our God given responsibility!
Join us November 6, at Christian Academy of Indiana or November 7, at English Station beginning each night at 6:30 p.m. in the campus auditoriums for parent sessions on the topic of meeting our kids where they are – genZ with Dr. Ellen Black from Liberty University.
Dr. Ellen Lowrie Black currently serves as Graduate Professor of Education at Liberty University in Lynchburg, VA. Ellen has three decades of varied experience in education as an elementary teacher, professor, head of school, K-12 and university board member, university dean and vice-president. As a graduate of the Delaware County Christian School, Ellen experienced firsthand the love and commitment of Christian school teachers. Dr. Black holds degrees from Eastern Mennonite University, Texas A&M, Temple University in Philadelphia as well as post doctoral work at Harvard Graduate School of Education. In addition to presenting at Oxford University, she has lectured and trained educators on four continents. Ellen speaks widely at conferences, retreats, in-services, banquets, and graduations. In May, Ellen received the President’s Award for Excellence in Teaching at Liberty. Raising three great kids is her greatest accomplishment. Dr. Black is grateful to God for Christian parents and grandparents and is partial to good coffee, salmon fishing in Alaska, beaches, and her six grand-children. |

Application for Admission of New Students for the 2018-2019 School Year is Now Open for All Campuses in the Christian Academy School System
The 2018-2019 online application is now available. To access and submit an application, please click here to go to the Admissions page of the Christian Academy School System website. Once on this page, please click the Submit an Application button on the right side. The following page will provide step by step instructions on how to submit an application online. We encourage you to submit your application as early as possible to allow for timely file preparation and admissions processing. The Admissions Department will review all applications for junior academy–12th grades at the point of submission and contact you for additional information, if needed. In the fall of 2017 church references for students entering grades kindergarten-12 and teacher references for students entering grades 1-12 will be acquired according to the reference information you provide on the application. After the first grading period of the 2017-2018 school year, please submit a current grade report for your student. Students applying for grades 6-12 will be contacted and scheduled for pre-admissions testing in December 2017. Pre-admissions testing for students applying for grades kindergarten-5 will be scheduled for January 2018.
