All of our teachers are in the process of preparing learning packets for your child(ren), which will include materials needed through April 30. We have a plan for each Rock Creek Elementary family to return completed packets, return library books and pick-up new packets Friday, April 17, at a specified time determined by your family's carpool number.

Learning Packet Returning Procedures

• Please place all completed work in either the original envelope that you were given OR inside of a plastic shopping bag that is clearly labeled with your child's name and teacher’s name to ease in collection/redistribution.  

• Library books should be returned in a separate plastic shopping bag that is clearly labeled “library.” 

Pick Up Instructions

• Please have your carpool number hanging from your rearview mirror upon entrance onto the campus. We ask that you form two lines upon arrival (like afternoon carpool) if needed.

• Please place your car in park.

• Stay in your car and have your completed packets and library books in your trunk/ hatch prepared to be collected. 

• Please do not roll down your windows (unless you are unable to open the trunk from inside your car).

• If you have a trunk/hatch release in the front of your vehicle, please activate it.

• One of our faculty members will come by the trunk/hatch of your vehicle to collect your returns and another will deliver your child(ren)'s new packet to you.

• Once you have your new packet in hand, please remove your carpool number to signal that you are ready.  

• You will be dismissed once you have your new packet.         

• We are expecting this process to run smoothly. We noticed how well you all ROCKed at this last month!

We will follow CDC precautions with minimized contact, social distancing, PPE and drive through delivery. As much as we all wish we could be here to hug you all and cheer you on, we will need to save that for when we all return. Again, thank you all for your support!
