We’re excited to announce that “Christmas at CAL” is returning for the 2026 season on Saturday, November 14! This beloved tradition is being revived by a dedicated board of parents and alumni to honor its meaningful past from Christian Academy’s Rock Creek Campus while bringing fresh ideas for an even greater experience. As we rebuild this special event, we invite the community to get involved and spread the word. This year also introduces a new purpose – proceeds will support and grow CAL’s Missions Department, furthering the opportunity to share the Gospel. Learn more about donations to Christmas at CAL and our “Missions at Heart” initiative. We are truly honored to carry on this cherished tradition that means so much to our community.
Again, all proceeds from Christmas at CAL 2026 will be reinvested into the Christian Academy of Louisville – English Station Campus missions department. While many view “missions” as something you sign up to go and do, we believe Scripture – and the example of Christ – calls us to a life of discipleship: being on mission every day, with everyone, everywhere we go. Therefore, funds from this event will directly support opportunities for students of all ages to actively live out their faith as they serve Louisville and beyond. So, whether you purchase a vendor booth, buy an item or choose to give directly, thank you for investing in the spiritual growth and discipleship of our students.
Why are the proceeds going to Missions at Christian Academy of Louisville – English Station?
- Beyond providing an exceptional education – we desire to raise disciples of Jesus.
- Missions is not an occasional activity or something reserved for those with extra time; it is a core expression of discipleship.
- Jesus modeled this through intentional relationships, compassionate service and meeting the physical, emotional, mental and spiritual needs of those around Him.
- By supporting missions, we ensure students have meaningful opportunities to live out their faith – serving one another, engaging the Louisville community and extending Christ’s love beyond our city.
How will these funds create meaningful opportunities for students to live out their faith?
- Supplying materials for on-campus service projects that support local needs.
- Providing transportation for students to participate in local and regional service opportunities.
- Offering scholarships for students needing financial assistance for short-term mission trips.
- Expanding the number of local service projects and mission trip opportunities.
- Assisting with transportation of collected items for disaster-relief efforts.
