CAL Seventh Graders Take on Real-World Challenges
What if the next big idea to change the world started in a seventh-grade classroom?
At Christian Academy of Louisville, seventh-grade students are discovering that science is about more than understanding how the world works. It’s about asking meaningful questions, tackling real problems and exploring ways to make a difference.
Through the CAL Middle School Science Fair, student teams put their creativity, research and problem-solving skills to work as they develop innovative solutions to challenges facing our world.
From identifying a problem to testing ideas and refining their approaches, students experience the rewards and challenges of thinking like scientists, engineers and innovators.
And the experience goes well beyond the classroom. Students have the opportunity to present their work, explain their reasoning and receive feedback from professionals in scientific and technical fields.
Small teams. Big questions. The potential to make a difference.
