“Christ is the one we proclaim, admonishing and teaching everyone with all wisdom, so that we may present everyone fully mature in Christ.”
Colossians 1:28
It is with great excitement that we announce the launch of the Christian Academy School of Spiritual Formation beginning with the 2022-2023 school year. In addition to our four-year high school Bible courses, this organic, three-year pathway fully unites with the mission statement of Christian Academy to develop students with hearts for God, who grow as Jesus did, in wisdom, stature and in favor with God and men. Please take a few minutes to watch the following overview.
Again, as mentioned in the video, this unique program does not necessarily target students who are spiritually mature or superior in the knowledge of the Bible but it is for the student who desires an advanced, personal experience in biblical studies, discipleship and leadership. Additionally, this pathway is not designed for the academically gifted. There are no weighted grades.
The mission of the School of Spiritual Formation is to equip and empower students through unique, curated spiritual experiences, courses and projects to grow as spiritual leaders who bring the kingdom of God to their present and future callings.
To fulfill this distinct mission, there are important elements that provide anchors to this program.
Some features include individual mentoring, small class size / learning environment, retreats, guest speakers, an internship, college credit, leadership development, Christian service experience and an individual student portfolio. Students who successfully fulfill all of the pathway obligations will receive a Christian Academy diploma of distinction. Please click here for a Complete Overview of the Program. Click here for Grandfather Guidelines for implementing this program.
Application and acceptance are required for the Christian Academy School of Spiritual Formation. Please click here for your application. High school students submit completed applications to the high school office or to program director, Mr. Leaman. Eighth grade students will submit applications to their Bible teacher.
We know that we could not do any of this without God’s help and favor on our school and fervently seek Him as we forge this new pathway in Kingdom education. We look forward to your continued partnership. Please click here for an FAQ sheet to address questions.
