CAL Alumni – Save the Date and RSVP for Homecoming 2026, September 11
It’s almost time for CAL Homecoming, and we want YOU to be there! We’re looking forward to celebrating with our alumni and their families. Here are all the details you need to know:
Alumni Homecoming Dinner
Friday, September 11
Alumni Tent | CAL Football Field
Dinner from Martin’s BBQ will be served to alumni and their families at 6 p.m. in the Alumni Tent with kickoff following at 7 p.m.
Also, thanks to our CAL Football Class of 2002 sponsor, each alumnus will receive a complimentary alumni sweatshirt! Please be sure to include your sweatshirt size when you RSVP. Once all confirmed sweatshirts have been distributed any remaining extras will be available on a first-come, first-served basis.
The Alumni Tent will be in the same location as last year, just inside the fence near the curve of the track. Look for the large white tent, you won’t miss us!
Game Entry Information
The main gate to the field opens at 6 p.m. Alumni will receive their complimentary game tickets at the Alumni Tent. After picking up your ticket, please proceed to the general ticket line to enter the field.
We can’t wait to see you back on campus and celebrate Homecoming together!

RSVP for the CAL New Family Tailgate, August 28
We want you, new CAL families, to join us before the August 28, Centurion home football game for the New Family Tailgate! Bring your folding chairs, your family, a hungry belly and we’ll bring the fun- games, face painting and more. We’ll hopefully have a visit from the Centurion Marching Band! You don’t have to attend the game but we’ll have free tickets for you and your family if you choose to attend! Let’s talk about the details:
What: Tailgate for New CAL Families with K-12 Students
When: August 28, Beginning at 6 p.m. until Kickoff at 7:30 p.m.
Where: The Great Lawn (grassy area in front of the main entrance)

When you arrive, please stop at our registration tent first to receive your FREE TICKETS TO THE GAME for your family and your fun-sized CAL football or pom-pom! Next, swing through the JAGGERS food tent to grab some delicious bites, then find a spot to set up your chairs next to other families and be sure to take advantage of all the fun and games our PTO will be bringing. We’re excited to help you on your way to becoming a true red and blue Centurion Fan!

Introducing Unity University and Other 2026-2027 Biblical Unity Initiatives
Director of Biblical Unity, Mr. Deon Parker has introduced a new initiative called “Unity University: Learning to Live as God’s United People.” In these sessions (ranging from 15 minutes up to 45 minutes), Mr. Parker will use engaging illustrations and a wealth of Bible verses to reveal God’s grand plan to unite with people and to unite His people (for His glory and for everyone’s good). Mr. Parker is looking to schedule 1-2 monthly meetings with various groups throughout the Christian Academy family (ex. friend groups, athletic teams, classrooms, Bible studies, teacher teams, departments, school clubs, parents, alumni, etc.).
All “Unity University” session participants will receive a free “Unity University” sticker and will become eligible to purchase a “Unity University” sweatshirt.

CAL High School Students, Come Putt-Putt with Us, August 5!
We’re thrilled to welcome new students to the CAL High School Family! We would love for them to get a chance to meet other students before the first day of school. Student are invited to join us at Puttshack, located behind Oxmoor Mall.
Date: Wednesday, August 5
Time: 10:30 a.m. – 12:30 p.m.
Location: Puttshack, 7900 Shelbyville Rd. Louisville, KY 40222
We will meet in the courtyard outside Puttshack for name tags and begin putting at 11 a.m. This exciting time will be packed with putt-putt games, opportunities to make new friends and to meet current students. It’s the perfect way for new students to connect before the school year begins.

CAL Summer Speed and Explosion Camp – Build Elite, Untouchable Speed Before the Season Starts, July 14-August 7
Stop guessing how to get faster. Come build elite, uncatchable speed before the season starts. This summer, we are launching our Feed the Cats Speed Camp. This is not a conditioning camp. We don’t run laps and we don’t do punishment cardio. We focus on 100% max velocity, explosive power and injury prevention to peak your speed.
Cost: $125 / Camper
Open to ALL high school athletes who have been physically active (all track events and all team sports: football, soccer, field hockey, basketball, lacrosse, etc.) This is a neurologically and muscularly intense camp and is not recommended for students who are new to athletics.
