The mission of Christian Academy School System is to develop students with a heart for God who grow as Jesus did in wisdom, stature and in favor with God and men.
Welcome Christian Academy of Louisville Grandparents!
The Grandparents Club’s purpose is to foster intergenerational connections that can support our students’ education.
At Christian Academy of Louisville, we want to help our grandparents be engaged and active members of the school, helping our students walk in faith. Our prayer is that we can have every grandparent involved in the school in some way, giving of their time, talent and treasure.
We currently have over 60 grandparents in our Grandparents Club, serving in various capacities throughout the school and from home.
CAL Grandparents have been busy! Check out how you can get involved through these various activities:
- Providence School – Serving Children with Down Syndrome: Tuesday/Thursday Helpers, World Down Syndrom Day (WDSD), Lunch Helper, Prayer Group

Grandparents Conference 2025
Christian Academy hosted its first ever Grandparents Conference on March 21, at Northeast Christian Church in Louisville, KY. This special event provided grandparents with valuable insights, encouragement and practical tools for engaging with their grandchildren in meaningful ways.
Session recordings featuring inspiring speakers and relevant topics are now available below. Deon Parker, Director of Biblical Unity, opened the conference with a heartfelt welcome and devotion. Director of Spiritual Formation, Dr. Becky Wiley shared insights on understanding Gen Z and Gen Alpha as well as practical ways to make Easter intentional. Technology Coach, Shanda Cunningham presented research on The Anxious Generation, offering valuable perspectives on today’s challenges. Dr. Wiley also introduced the #1 tool for relationship building, equipping grandparents with strategies to deepen their connections with their grandchildren.
Whether you attended in person or are exploring these sessions from home, we invite you to be encouraged and equipped as you invest in the spiritual growth and well-being of your grandchildren.
