Together We Can on November 28!

Christian Academy School System | Support | GivingTuesday | November 28, 2023

As the holiday season approaches, we’re reminded of the power of generosity and the spirit of giving. We reach out in advance of November 28, a special day in that spirit, GivingTuesday. It’s a day dedicated to making a difference, coming together as a community and supporting our school system.

At Christian Academy, we’ve seen firsthand the incredible impact generosity can create. From new equipment helping keep our students safe to welcoming students who may not have had the chance to attend if it were not through tuition assistance.

On GivingTuesday, November 28, we invite you to be a part of something meaningful. Your support can help Christian Academy continue to provide support for Technology Integration, Tuition Assistance, Athletics, Fine Arts, Staff Benefits and Security Upgrades. Whether it’s through a donation, spreading the word or volunteering your time, your participation is invaluable.

Thank you for your unwavering support. Together We Can ensure the success of our school system by providing students with a Love for God, Students and Others.

NEW! Educating for Eternity Podcast – Faithful Fusion: Exploring Denominational Variances in a Christian School

Christian Academy School System | Podcast | Educating for Eternity

People choose church denominations for a variety of reasons. Whether it’s for theology, worship style, or leadership structure, most people are passionate about their denomination and what they teach. But what happens in a Christian school when you try to fuse together many denominations under the same roof? Can you be sure that your child won’t be taught things contrary to your beliefs? Is there really any common ground? Scott, Kevin, and Aleshia are joined by their top leader, Mr. Darin Long, the Superintendent of Christian Academy School System, to discuss these questions and more. We hope you enjoy the discussion about where you can compromise and where you should stand strong.

Christian Academy Takes Over WHAS11’s Great Day Live, November 17

Christian Academy Staff, Teachers, Families, Alumni, Supporters and Friends – Tune in to WHAS11’s Great Day Live this Friday morning from 9-10 a.m. to see Christian Academy take over the show! Watch some of your favorite teachers, students and alumni share what God is doing at Christian Academy School System.

Ms. McConnell is ALL IN!

We are so proud of our incredible teachers and as we continue to feature each of our Outstanding ALL IN teacher winners from across the system over the coming weeks, join us in making a gift to Christian Academy School System.

Here is one example:

Amy McConnell
Amy McConnell has been teaching high school Bible for over a decade now. She has helped to write the curriculum for multiple classes in the Bible department and for the School of Spiritual Formation. She finds ways to connect with students where they are, models a love for the Lord and casts a vision for what a biblical life of faith can look like. Outside of the classroom, Amy has led as the freshmen class sponsor for several years, continues to lead the local missions club and works to build community with our international students. She visits students at sporting games and meets up with them outside of school to see movies, grab lunch or pick blackberries together. She’s the epitome of an ALL IN teacher.
