The Schmitt and Washington/Bridgeman Families are ALL IN!
Again, at Christian Academy, we pride ourselves on the strength of our community, where families and educators work together to provide the best for our students. This week, we’re excited to introduce you to two more families that truly embody what it means to be ALL IN!
Both families, like those before, have fully invested their time, energy and enthusiasm into helping make Christian Academy a thriving community for all. In their heartfelt videos, they explain why their schools mean so much to them and how being a part of the Christian Academy School System has enriched both their family’s journey and their children’s educational experience.
We invite you to meet the Schmitt family from CAI –
as well as the Washington/Bridgeman family from CAL –
The dedication of these families provides another example of how families like yours also have the potential to make a lasting impact on our school. We hope their stories encourage you to get involved in any way you can, whether by volunteering, attending school events or supporting our initiatives like the ALL IN Annual Fund Campaign.
Every effort, big or small, helps make Christian Academy the exceptional learning environment that it is.
Join the movement and show that you’re ALL IN!
Thank you for being part of this amazing community. Together, we can continue to make Christian Academy a place where students and families thrive.

Election Season Devotional #4
Christian Academy Statement: As we enter into another election season, we want to remind our school community that the Christian Academy School System is partisan only to the Bible and our shared Biblical and Foundational Statements. We support each person’s right to vote as led by God’s Word and the Holy Spirit. In keeping with our school, parent and employee partnership commitment, we have agreed to treat our neighbors with respect and honor, as fellow image bearers of God, including engaging in responsible discourse. Christian Academy is firmly dedicated to promoting unity rather than divisiveness in all aspects, including politics.
With this in mind, I want to introduce the final of four devotional thoughts on how we, as Christians, can positively impact our community. As a big college athletic fan, my emotions can swing dramatically based on the performance of 18 to 22-year-olds during a game. When “we” lose, I have to remind myself to stay grounded because I often start complaining about every possible reason for the loss: play calling, roster make-up, officials, the uniforms, crowd noise on 3rd down – you name it! I can even find myself already complaining about the future based on just one result.
Mr. Deon Parker, Director of Biblical Unity, (dparker@caschools.us) shares his thoughts and reflections as we approach the final stretch of this election season. How should we respond when we catch ourselves complaining about choices or people? The Bible always provides the answer.
New Biblical Unity YouTube Release – Unity Field Trips
Take a look at our YouTube videos for our school system’s first-ever joint (CAI and CAL) high school field trips to Cincinnati, Ohio and our 8th grade field trips to Berea, Kentucky!
Over 100 Christian Academy students and employees learned how to be better unifiers over the past week!
These were great strides in our pursuit of Biblical Unity at Christian Academy. Let’s keep going! God is with us and has good plans for us.
Psalm 133:1, NIV:
“How good and pleasant it is when God’s people live together in unity!”

A quick recap – our second gardening club meeting was a huge success!
Here are the highlights:
- We got a head start on sowing spring bulbs.
- We discovered how leaving roots in the ground helps nourish and enrich the soil as well as adding amendments.
- We planted for the cooler season, ensuring fresh harvest into the fall.
Thank you to everyone who came out and shared their knowledge and enthusiasm!!
Let’s keep growing!
