Initiative 1, Relationships
The first initiative in the Christian Academy Strategic Plan is based on Relationships. It states that Christian Academy will intentionally build authentic relationships with all stakeholders.
The three objectives for this initiative are to:
- Create and cultivate two-way communication.
- Promote services and resources that will advance the Christian Academy mission.
- Explore and facilitate mutually beneficial partnerships.
Initiative 2, Viability
The second initiative in the Christian Academy Strategic Plan is Viability. It says Christian Academy will ensure that schools stay mission-oriented and a viable Christian educational choice.
The three objectives for this initiative are to:
- Maintain doctrinal fidelity.
- Steward financial and physical resources.
- Educate stakeholders on institutional priorities along with the historical foundations of Christian Academy.
Initiative 3, Accessibility
The third initiative in the Christian Academy Strategic Plan is Accessibility. It says Christian Academy will extend its reach to Christian families that desire a Christian education.
The three objectives for this initiative are to:
- Investigate additional academic programs and resources to serve a larger student population.
- Assess economic avenues and resources so that tuition/fees are not a hindrance to attending Christian Academy.
- Explore avenues to reach more families in the communities served by Christian Academy.
Initiative 4, Unity
The fourth initiative in the Christian Academy Strategic Plan is Unity. It says Christian Academy will be a positive example in the community portraying Biblical Unity.
The three objectives for this initiative are to:
- Ensure that all students, regardless of race, ethnicity, abilities or socioeconomic background, are cared for, respected and loved.
- Improve recruitment and retention of underrepresented communities in leadership, faculty, staff and students.
- Communicate Christian Academy’s accomplishments, initiatives and innovations as the school embraces and exemplifies a diverse culture of excellence.
Initiative 5, Growth
The fifth initiative in the Christian Academy Strategic Plan is Growth. It says Christian Academy students will grow spiritually and academically through individual goals and ownership of their development.
The three objectives for this initiative are to:
- Focus on student spiritual growth so that students can self-assess, document and verbalize their spiritual growth.
- Develop a program(s) where students will partner with teachers and parents in their academic goals, assessments and growth.
- Provide relevant, innovative and transformative curriculum enabling all students to grow.
Initiative 6, Leadership
The sixth initiative in the Christian Academy Strategic Plan is Leadership. It says Christian Academy will be a leader regionally in expanding Christian Education.
The three objectives for this initiative are to:
- Offer resources, expertise and opportunities to other Christian schools.
- Engage in local, state and national legislation and organizations that expand educational choice and Christian education.
- Attract, develop and retain the best and brightest teachers, administrators and staff.
