Playwright David Longest has taken the classic Louisa May Alcott novel and expanded it into a sweeping historical tale, recalling the authors own childhood in Concord, Massachusetts and sharing her literary journey with March sisters Meg, Jo, Beth and Amy, inspired by her own family life. As they live and grow together, hope and faith are renewed for actors and audience alike. (Produced by special arrangement with the Dramatic Publishing Company)

Please Join Us as We Celebrate Providence School and the DSL Walk to Independence, September 28

Providence School would like to invite you and your family to join us in celebrating the lives of individuals with Down syndrome and their accomplishments. Please join us on Saturday, September 28, for the 5K Run/Walk Steps to Independence benefiting Down syndrome of Louisville/DSL.

This is a fun event with a Kids Zone, live music and free food and snacks. Help us as we support this great organization that has partnered with Providence School for the past eight years.

The 5K walk/run begins at 8 a.m. on September 28, at the Waterfront Park – Festival Plaza. Registration begins at 7 a.m. Details for this and the event are included here. Parents will need to register online for the event at downsydromeoflouisville.org.

New Providence tshirts have also been created (with a new Providence School logo!) and are available for this event.

Families wishing to purchase a new Providence tshirt must do so online at calprovidence19.itemorder.com by September 10. This deadline is quickly approaching so please get on and order your tshirt today. You can also wear your tshirt from a previous year.

We look forward to another great turnout as we support our partner and our students with Down syndrome. Hope to see you there!
