Give Blood and Help Save Lives at CAI, February 1
Christian Academy of Indiana is hosting a blood drive on campus on Thursday, February 1, 2024 from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. It is open to all students ages 16 and up, parents and staff. The support for this event has been tremendous thus far and we would love to get as many people as possible.
As an incentive, the Red Cross is offering a free tshirt and a $20 Amazon gift card to all who donate at CAI in February. We are extremely grateful to the Red Cross for this opportunity! Health concerns are always taken into consideration during blood drives. There are height, weight, travel and pregnancy requirements as well. If you are unsure about your eligibility, you can visit this link to learn more.
If you are a student, please be sure to talk to your parents about participating. If you are 16-years-old, you cannot donate blood without parental consent. After indicating your age when you sign up, we will follow up with you concerning a parental consent form. To date, 77 individuals from CAI have expressed their willingness to donate but there is room for approximately 120 total people to step up in this way. We appreciate how well this has been received and the Red Cross is beyond thrilled to continue this partnership in the future.

Karen embodies the virtues of a great teacher in so many ways. She has a deep care for her students’ learning and is always looking for ways to expand her teaching so that her students can expand their learning. She creates fun ways to learn mathematics and incorporates classroom tech that makes learning easier. She goes out of her way to support other teachers in their classes.
