Join Us for Coffee and 10 with Deon Parker, Director of Biblical Unity – August 25

We are so happy to have you as part of the Christian Academy community. Now that your child has (hopefully) settled into a school day routine, we’d like to help you get to know us a little bit more.

Join us on Friday morning, August 25, just after drop off next door at Sam Peden Park, Shelter #1. We’ll provide coffee, some breakfast goodies and 10 minutes (or so!) with our Director of Biblical Unity, Mr. Deon Parker. Hang around to meet other parents or fill up your coffee as you head off to work.

We hope to see you there!

Please RSVP Here.

Join Us in Celebrating Exciting News for Christian Academy of Indiana!

Last spring, we submitted a grant proposal to the Indiana Arts Commission and we are proud to announce that we have been chosen as the Indiana Arts Commission’s Arts Trust License Plate Designee for Floyd County!

Our school was recognized for its outstanding commitment to community and service in the areas of education, economy and health. Because of this designation, we received funding from the Arts Trust, which is supported by donations from the sale of Celebrate the Arts license plates.

Thank you to all Celebrate the Arts license plate holders for supporting creativity in Indiana and Floyd County. We are excited to use these funds to expand our Arts Week activities in May!

IMPORTANT: Christian Academy of Indiana High School Chromebook and Charger Collections

Thank you for a great year! As we wrap up the 2022-2023 school year, the Technology Department would like to make you aware of a slight change in our Chromebook collection plan. This year, we will only be collecting devices from the senior class and students who are not reenrolled for 2023-2024. Rising freshmen, sophomores and juniors will be keeping their Chromebooks and chargers during the summer months (click here for details).

The deadline for Chromebook and charger collections for all senior class students and any student not reenrolled for the 2023-2024 school year is May 26. Any senior or non returning student that does not turn in their CAI issued device to the Technology Department by this deadline will incur a non-refundable charge in FACTS of $240 for the missing equipment.

Collection of Chromebooks is always completed during the week of finals. When students have taken their last final in May, they simply need to deliver their Chromebook and charger to the Media Center to be collected by the Technology Department.

Please Carefully Review the Following Guidelines for Chromebook Return:

NOTE: We are now accepting credit card and Apple Pay as payment.

  1. Damaged Chromebooks: If a Chromebook is damaged in any way, including but not limited to screen damage, keyboard damage or case damage, please come prepared to pay the $70 damage deductible. Technology can only accept damaged equipment along with the $70 damage deductible at the time of return.
  2. Chargers: Students must have their charger at the time of Chromebook return. If the charger is missing or damaged, please come prepared to pay $40. Technology will only accept the Chromebook with either a working, school issued, Dell branded charger or the $40 payment.
  3. Clean: All personal stickers will need to be removed from the Chromebook prior to return. Chromebooks will not be accepted with anything other than school-issued barcode stickers. Please do not remove the Christian Academy property barcode from the device.
