As we wrap up the 2023-2024 school year, the Technology Department will only be collecting devices from the senior class and students who are not reenrolled for 2024-2025. Rising freshmen, sophomores and juniors will be keeping their Chromebooks and chargers during the summer months.

The deadline for Chromebook and charger collections for all senior class students and any student not reenrolled for the 2024-2025 school year is May 23. Any senior or nonreturning student that does not turn in their CAI issued device to the Technology Department by this deadline will incur a nonrefundable charge in FACTS of $240 for the missing equipment.

Collection of Chromebooks is always completed during the week of finals. When students have taken their last final in May, they simply need to deliver their Chromebook and charger to the Media Center to be collected by the Technology Department.

Collection of Devices and/or Payments, May 21 – 23, Before Exams

NOTE: We accept checks made payable to CAI, credit cards and Apple Pay as payment.

Please Carefully Review the Following Guidelines for Chromebook Return:

  1. Damaged Chromebooks: If a Chromebook is damaged in any way, including but not limited to screen damage, keyboard damage or case damage, please come prepared to pay the $70 damage deductible. Technology can only accept damaged equipment along with the $70 damage deductible at the time of return.
  2. Chargers: Students must have their charger at the time of Chromebook return. If the charger is missing or damaged, please come prepared to pay $30. Technology will only accept the Chromebook with either a working, school issued, Dell brand charger or the  $30 payment.
  3. Clean: All personal stickers will need to be removed from the Chromebook prior to return. Chromebooks will not be accepted with anything other than school issued barcode stickers. Please do not remove the Christian Academy property barcode from the device
