Christian Academy Families – Thank you for your support of last year’s Parent Town Hall gatherings. And, many have asked about future Town Halls…so here we go!

One of the most difficult things to maneuver (from your feedback) is travel sports. Travel sports has become a pretty thorny enterprise over the last decade and I think we all likely see some positives and negatives. Christian Academy will be offering two upcoming Parent Town Halls on (Spiritually) Surviving Travel Sports

Here are the details:

CAI: Thursday, March 5, 6:30-8 p.m. in the High School Media Center

CAL: Monday, March 9, 6:30-8 p.m. in the High/Middle School Media Center

These are for ANY age sports. Even if you are not currently in travel sports but are considering it, this is for you too. Leading our time will be Christian Academy parent and local pastor, Tyler McKenzie. Tyler is currently a travel sports parent and has successfully been re-thinking and re-imagining how best to participate. He’s a wealth of experience & information!

If this topic resonates with you, I strongly encourage you to attend one of the nights – space is limited and sign-ups are required. The content will be the same so if you can’t make it to your campus, consider attending the other campus meeting.

As always, we value our partnership with families, and take that seriously. Let’s re-think travel sports together!
