Sarah Son, a 2015 CAL graduate, recently shot an impressive final round of 76 in the conference tournament at The Oaks Course near Atlanta, GA to help lead the Milligan College Buffs to the championship. There were 11 teams in the tourney field and she finished 17th of 57.
Sarah helped lead the Buffs to a 3rd place finish in the Tusculum Collegiate Invitational, finishing 24th of 45. She also was a solid contributor to a 3rd of 11 place finish at the Coastal Georgia/Jekyll Island Collegiate.
In addition to her athletic success, Sarah has an impressive 3.166 GPA at the mid-term.
“Sarah is a real delight to have on our team. She possesses extraordinary enthusiasm and a very positive attitude. Sarah has made a solid contribution to our program this fall and we are very excited about her potential,” said Milligan College Head Golf Coach, Tony Wallingford.
Milligan is ranked #20 nationally in the Coaches Poll and #15 nationally by Golfstat. The Buffs will play their final fall season tournament this coming week at the NAIA National Preview Championship in Savannah, GA.
