Christian Academy of Louisville is pleased to announce Perry White as the new head girls’ basketball coach. White was the assistant girls’ basketball coach last year at CAL, and was previously the assistant basketball coach at Fern Creek High School.

“I am looking forward to building on the success of last year’s team and exceeding everyone’s expectations to becoming a state contender. CAL has a great foundation which is a credit to the parents and staff. These girls are a pleasure to be around. This will be an exciting year at CAL and I look forward to it,” said Coach White.

CAL Director of Athletics, Brad Morgan said, “Coach White knows and cares about these players. He has great passion for CAL and will do a great job building on to the strong foundation already in place. I look forward to watching him rise to the challenge of competing for titles in the always tough 7th region.”

“Our goals will be lofty and because I know these girls and their work ethic, I firmly believe we will compete for district and regional titles this upcoming season. The long term goals are to build the CAL girls basketball program into a program the students, parents and school can be proud of by always competing at a high level while maintaining good sportsmanship,” said Coach White

White is the owner of a Nationwide Insurance agency with 2 locations in Middletown and Fern Creek. He and his wife Donna, have two daughters, Alyx, age 20 and Camryn, who will be a senior at CAL next year.
