It is a celebratory day in the art department as the Regional Notification of the Scholastic Art Awards have been made! This highly prestigious competition is for art students in our region to have the chance to exhibit their work and have it juried by working artists. This year our students were awarded 10 awards! The ranking system is Honorable Mention, Silver Key and Gold Key. These awards given in our area represent approximately the top 10% of submitted works (this year there were about 1800 submissions).
