We are so excited to celebrate our 10th anniversary of our School of Biomedical Science!
The School of Biomedical Science utilizes curriculum from Project Lead the Way, the nation’s premier provider of STEM curriculum. Students in the School of Biomedical Science learn how to investigate a crime scene, build human body systems and explore genetic engineering. By the end of their senior year, students will have earned college credit, developed portfolios and shadowed professionals in hospitals and clinics to discover their passions and gifts within the medical field.
This program began in 2014 with 12 students and has now grown to 197 students! Over the last decade, we have awarded 481 students with their white coats and over 167 diplomas of distinction in the School of Biomedical Science. Yearly, since 2018, Project Lead the Way has recognized CAL for the strength of the program as a School of Distinction.
In addition to our School of Biomedical Science, we offer a School of Engineering, School of the Arts and School of Spiritual Formation as Diplomas of Distinction. Each of these programs offers a rigorous curriculum with robust, hands-on experiences that equip students for professional and collegiate preparation in these areas of study. Christian Academy truly has something to offer every student.
Whether you are a current family, have attended one of our open houses, scheduled a tour or are simply exploring what Christian Academy can offer your child, we are so glad you’re here and grateful for your interest in Christian Academy.
