Christian Academy of Louisville rising first – sixth graders for the 2026-2027 school year are invited to join us June 15-19, from 9:30-11 a.m. in the elementary music room (124). Drama Boot Camp: Where Confidence Takes the Stage is directed by Dr. Jeanie Hoover, Elementary Music and Performing Arts Club Director.

Dr. Hoover will be teaching a fun drama workshop to help develop skills in vocal projection, body language, facial expression, getting into character, auditioning,etc. Students will be playing lots of fun drama games and doing warmups and short improvisations to work on these elements of drama! This workshop will be different from “Captains, Castles and Capes” so students may choose to participate in both to make a full day.

If a student is participating in both drama camps and would like to stay in between the two camps each day, they may sign up for lunch hour. Students should bring a sack lunch and a drink but will be supervised by Dr. Hoover. Alternatively, if someone from either of the two drama camps would like to stay an extra hour or come an hour early, and have lunch with the others, they could sign up for the lunch hour.
