The Media Center would like to welcome our middle and high school students to the 2023-2024 school year! We look forward to being part of your day-to-day life, whether it’s checking out books, blowing off “steam” in our new MakerSpace corner or researching topics with our non-fiction selection or vetted online databases.

As classes begin, some of your teachers may require you to use a textbook. At CAL, we are pleased to offer these books at no charge. You will be given a barcoded book by your teacher and your class will take a trip to the Media Center to scan the book out to your name. It is very important that you keep track of the book you are assigned as you will be expected to turn that exact book back in at the end of the course.
